1. General: These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website www.haeinyoga.com and the booking of retreats, events, and services offered by Haein Yoga ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

By accessing this website, submitting a payment, or booking any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our services.

2. Retreat Bookings and Payments

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your place. For the Nature Immersion Yoga Retreat at Playa Viva, taking place from October 24 to October 29, 2026, the deposits are:

  • Shared room: $500 USD

  • Private room: $800 USD

The deposit covers administrative work, reservation management, and financial commitments made to the venue and service providers. Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been successfully received and written confirmation has been issued by Haein Yoga.

Retreat prices: The total retreat prices are:

  • Shared room: $2,300 USD per participant

  • Private room: $3,100 USD per participant

Remaining balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than September 24, 2026. The remaining balances are:

  • Shared room: $1,800 USD

  • Private room: $2,300 USD

A secure payment link for the final balance will be emailed to the participant. If the remaining balance is not received by September 24, 2026, Haein Yoga may cancel the reservation and release the place to another participant. In this situation, the initial deposit will remain non-refundable.

Currency: All prices are listed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated. Participants are responsible for any bank charges, international transaction fees, or currency conversion costs associated with their payment.

Payment processing: Payments are processed securely through Squarespace Commerce, Stripe, or another payment provider identified during checkout. Haein Yoga does not directly store participants’ complete credit or debit card information.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

How to cancel

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: info.haeinyoga@gmail.com

The effective cancellation date will be the date and time on which Haein Yoga receives the written request. Messages sent through social media or communicated verbally will not be considered formal cancellation requests unless they are subsequently confirmed by email.

Non-refundable deposit

The initial deposit is non-refundable. This applies to both shared-room and private-room reservations. Cancellation after full payment. If the participant has paid the retreat in full and Haein Yoga receives the written cancellation request no later than October 17, 2026, the participant will be eligible for a refund equal to 70% of the total amount paid.

Haein Yoga will retain the remaining 30% to cover administration, planning, venue commitments, payment processing, and other non-recoverable costs associated with organizing and holding the participant’s place.

Late cancellations

Cancellations received after October 17, 2026 are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for:

  • Cancellations received fewer than 7 calendar days before the retreat begins

  • Failure to attend

  • Late arrival

  • Early departure

  • Missed flights

  • Visa denial

  • Personal illness or injury

  • Family or work-related circumstances

  • Travel delays or transportation problems

  • Activities, meals, accommodation nights, transfers, or services the participant chooses not to use

These conditions do not limit any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible. Refunds will normally be processed within 10 to 15 business days after written approval. The time required for the funds to appear will depend on the participant’s bank, card issuer, payment provider, and country.

Original payment processing fees, bank charges, international transfer fees, currency conversion costs, and other non-recoverable transaction expenses may be deducted from the refundable amount where permitted by applicable law. Haein Yoga is not responsible for losses caused by exchange-rate fluctuations.

Transferring a reservation

If a participant is unable to attend, they may request to transfer their reservation to another eligible participant. The transfer request must be received in writing no later than October 17, 2026.

All transfers are subject to:

  • Prior written approval by Haein Yoga

  • Availability and suitability of the selected accommodation

  • Completion of all required participant and health information

  • Acceptance of these Terms by the replacement participant

  • Payment of any outstanding balance

  • Payment of any reasonable administrative costs associated with the transfer

A reservation may only be transferred once. Any private payment or reimbursement arrangement between the original and replacement participants is their sole responsibility.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions to protect your investment.

4. Retreat Changes

We reserve the right to modify retreat schedules, activities, venues, instructors, or other details as needed to ensure the quality and safety of the experience. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.

5. Natural Environment Disclaimer

Our retreats take place in nature-based, eco-friendly environments. Participants may encounter insects, wildlife, and other natural elements as part of the setting. These conditions are an inherent and intentional part of the retreat experience and do not constitute grounds for refunds, complaints, or claims. By booking a retreat, you acknowledge and accept that you will be staying in a natural environment and that conditions may differ from conventional hotel accommodations.

6. Check-Out Policy

Check-out time is 11:00 AM on the final day of the retreat.

Late check-out fees apply as follows: up to 1 hour late (by 12:00 PM): $100 USD; up to 2 hours late (by 1:00 PM): $200 USD; check-out after 2:00 PM: a full one-night accommodation charge.

Any costs resulting from late check-out are the sole responsibility of the participant and must be settled directly with the venue before departure.

7. Shared Accommodation Notice

This is not a private retreat. Accommodations and common areas are shared with other retreat participants and, in some cases, other guests of the hosting venue. Shared rooms may accommodate up to 4 guests and are thoughtfully assigned by Haein Yoga to support group harmony. Private room upgrades are available on request and subject to availability at an additional cost.

8. Health, Fitness, and Assumption of Risk

Our retreats include physical activities such as yoga (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin), breathwork, meditation, cacao ceremonies, and other wellness practices. By registering for a retreat, you confirm that: You are in good physical and mental health and capable of participating in the activities offered, or you have disclosed any relevant health conditions, injuries, or limitations to us prior to the retreat. You understand that yoga and related practices carry inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may arise from your participation. You will inform the instructors of any physical limitations, injuries, or conditions before each session.

Haein Yoga and its instructors are not liable for any injuries, illness, or damages sustained during or as a result of participation in retreat activities. If you are pregnant, have a serious medical condition, or have had recent surgery, please consult your physician before booking and notify us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

9. Travel and Insurance

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat location, including flights, visas (if applicable), and travel insurance. Complimentary airport transfers between the designated airport and the retreat venue are included where specified in the retreat description. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost luggage, and travel delays. Haein Yoga is not responsible for any travel-related issues, delays, cancellations, or losses.

10. What Is Not Included

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the following are not included in the retreat price: flights and travel insurance; alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, smoothies, and coconuts; meals or snacks ordered outside the retreat program; optional activities such as temazcal ceremonies, excursions, massages, or additional therapies; personal expenses and tips.

11. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to treat fellow guests, instructors, staff, and venue personnel with respect and kindness. The retreat is a shared space for healing and personal growth. Haein Yoga reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat without refund if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others. This includes but is not limited to harassment, intoxication, or any conduct that compromises the safety or well-being of the group.

12. Photography and Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional and social media purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness in such materials unless you notify us in writing before the retreat that you do not wish to be photographed.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on www.haeinyoga.com, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of Haein Yoga and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Haein Yoga, its founders, instructors, and affiliated facilitators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in a retreat or use of our website. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, illness, loss of personal property, travel disruptions, or emotional distress.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in a retreat shall be resolved in the courts of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
